Mexican Insurance policies can be purchased in two basic packages, depending if you want physical damage for your vehicle.

Full Coverage Insurance
This type covers your vehicle for damage and theft to your vehicle, and some cover vandalism. If you vehicle has any value, or if your vehicle is financed, your finance company will require you to purchase a policy that provides physical damage.

MexVisit^® Travel Assistance is an option to add on all policies and is considered the best assistance program offered in Mexico.

Liability Only Insurance
Liability only types of policies do NOT include damage and theft of vehicle. These policies meet the Mexico legal requirements for proof of financial responsibility - needed for damages caused by you to others in the event of an accident.

Road Assistance and Travel assistance, including medical evacuation
